When Claire emailed and asked if I could film her wedding I didn't need to read past the part that said "my groom to be is American" before I emailed back a firm YES! I've learned anything from American grooms in the past (like Martin from one of my all time favourite trailers) 1) They are emotional 2) They sound seriously cool. When Claire went on to say her wedding was at Layer Marney Tower, one of the most drop dead gorgrous venues I've worked at, there was no doubt in my mind this would be one of my favourite weddings of the year.
Chris' speech was very brief but emotive and passionate with it. When his brother showed everybody during his speech that the emotive personality runs in the family, I knew I'd have great fun editing this wedding and it did not disappoint.
It was great working with Lisa Alger, The Edge Photography and Happy Hour again so I hope you enjoy watching this one as much as I enjoyed making it.
