I first met Lauren and Terry at one of the regular open days that the marvellous Fennes staff put on to help their potential couples visualise their big day and finalise the smaller details. Lauren has since admitted to me that she'd already heard of my work and decided she simply needed me to film her big day so the sales pitch that I hate and try to avoid at all costs at these events thankfully wasn't needed, I was to film their wedding and that was final!
Over a year later and when the big day came around the sun was shining as Terry and his best man Laurence arrived in a gleaming McLaren sports car. I put my jealousy to one side and along with David Islip and his wife Sandra set about creating some magic memories! (Ok.. now I'm starting to sound like the cheesy salesman!)
The day was helped along by a selection of talented and award winning suppliers all of which I've had the pleasure of working with on several occasions including hair stylist Tina Crossley and florist Jades Flower Design. Partly down to this but largely because Lauren and Terry are such thoroughly nice people, the day flew by in no time at all and it felt like I was spending the day hanging out with friends. I love my job!
